KEEP THE CHANGE / JOHN PERKINS, PH.D.

[NOTE: THIS PAGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. LAST REVISED FEBRUARY 21, 2003.]

After completing School (Ph.D. in Organizational Change from Union Institute 9/98) I created a graphic summary of my work What Tops Every Board of Directors' Wish List?, as well as a written article, Sensemaking: A remedy for indecisive boards, which was published in the May 1999 issue of Nonprofit World.

Where do I find excitement now that I'm done with school? I am permanently intrigued with the need for human integrity and spontaneous skills for groups to self-organize. Read what I have to say about Open Space. Is our group or board chronically finding that just a few people overwork themselves while the rest seem to coast? Hire me to facilitate a Synergy by Design™ worksharing session and watch both morale and productivity soar. And what would going to grad school mean without a book (Get Off the Dime!—Courageous Board Governance Through Sensemaking) to pull all my recent knowledge together for others to learn from?
